I am the founding member.I could have stopped the Glencairn stakes 5 furlongs out and told him he was going to get no run. Chris Hayes must have been laughing to himself as he come off the rails 3 ouit to let him up and can himself.
Can someone answer me this. How can a jockey that is so good around the gaff tracks and Dundalk be so poor at Leopardstown and the Curragh? Is it pressure ?
How many graded winners is he going to cost Oxx before he gets the door?
I actually like him as a jockey tbh but thought that was a terrible ride.
Anyway i didn't bet on it so don't really affect me [:)]

Soapp your credibility has to be questioned with 1 pt ew on a 1-2 shot...
Dreadful jockey for the big day... the Davy Russell of the flat [;)] although Davy can pull some good performances out of the big on the big ones

Funny enough I backed elyaadi today and thought he gave it a good ride. the winner was never going to be caught.
Even look at this thread originally. As soon as I put it up (and I stand over it) he went on to ride 2 winners.
I guess I was just frustrated because I could see what was happening 6 furlongs out. At the end of the day horses are ridden by small men with small brains. We need to learn to accept that and put whatever mistakes they make down to stupidity and it is not their fault. I guess the same as being upset at a kid because he is not clever enough to learn his irish.

He has been rubbish for at least 2 years. He got that Oxx job in a very public sectorish fashion- he hung around long enough and the man above retired. John Oxx will regret that decision, if he doesn't already.

Fran gave every horse he rode good rides today including the odds on loser. When the winner loomed up to the filly he was twice her size and the race was over. The problem with Halford is that one cannot tell what state his horses are in. This one clearly thrived since his first run and there was plenty of money for it on the track if not here. I backed the favorite and have no complaints for once
