Do VC have a "make sure we're shortest about this" button on their sowtware?

Exactly my point BJG,seems a battle going on between VC and Sid James on who can give the worst prices on anything thats half fancied.Both clueless two bob outfits if you ask me.

VC also are 7/2 Katesgem in that race BJG which is a 6/1 shot elsewhere from 8/1.VC were only ever 13/2 about it so they never laid it in the first place imo but they just have to be shortest.

Arabella Beaufort 7/2 with VC - 11/2 and 5/1 generally

Northern Rock 11/10 VC - 13/8 and 6/4 gen

Carlowsantana 4/1 VC - 11/2 and 5/1 Gen

Very poor indeed,the mugs in the shops backing at these prices are getting some shafting.

Not defending them - only go into their Baggot St shop occasionally  -  but what has brought me in there is that they will give you the best odds available on oddschecker for any event (pretty sure of that) -  maybe they do not do it to big stakes - but I certainly had a nifty on a golf bet @ best oddschecker odds - cannot be any fairer than that imo.

Dont be silly Eggs.Theres nothing clever about what VC are very obviously doing.If you're not too dim just look at oddschecker.If another firm shorten anything in Ireland VC automatically go shortest of all about it.Clever? Not in my opinion.

Well done Ian,these Bots really are the business.But can you imagine the mess we'd be in if everybody was as useless as VC odds compilers and just tried to be the shortest price on every single horse thats shortened somewhere else.Prices would go into freefall and there would be 10/1 shots at odds on.

No problems today getting on a 28/1 for a fiver each way in a late race tonight. They are the longest by a long way. Similarly yesterday getting on at 6/1 when all else where 5/1

Every firm has the right to trade whatever prices they like, surely people will vote with their feet if they don't like what they see. For example, were I a VC regular I would be going elsewhere for my World Cup first goalscorers (check out each match on oddschecker ), most probably to Bills whose prices they have plagiarised in full and added a bit more margin.

In the last at DR last night they bet 4/6 and 6/4 the front two ep.....Slade should have taken the sweep then I suppose though I doubt it somehow.

Their pricing bot has gone a bit mad on Serbia v Ghana, there is a bit of value (aka palpable) there
