Disgraceful. Good to yielding this morning now pretty much firm ground. One well known jockey has said he wouldnt run a donkey on this ground. Typical from the powers that be. Expect many more withdrawals.

Whoever the fk put up that wants shooting.
I just presumed it was quicker, the trainer comments, and withdrawls seemed to back that up. Been no rain ffs.

Having dragged a horse half way across the country for a run some are not best pleased either. No regard for the welfare of the horses this lot. Think if they shove up any old ground description owners and trainers will run their horses having made the journey.

I'd say The Curragh are healthy odds on to water for the weekend? Only up the road like Plain

the going description by Irish race courses is disgrace, its very misleading to punters, often I find myself having to look up the actual race and see what way the sods are coming up to get a true assessment. The stick system that the flat uses is the way to go. I think Iam going to ring up about this or even write a letter.

Funny enough Doyler they didn't water at all for Henrythesat nav's guineas.

yeah tracks do funny things, just like Leopardstown used the outer track when there was no "good" in the ground on the inner track for the Champion Stakes Mischief

Watering the ground last year Derby weekend and ruling out Sea The Stars from running and leaving it to Fame and Glory is another classic example.
