international number 10's make those kicks, ROG on for full game we would probably have scraped home, Scotland deserve their win, they prob shud have won triple crown as had Wales beat and shud have beaten England too

Triple crown? what an outdated idea that i think doesn't excite either the players or supporters. I was at the match and bar the last 15 mins or so i've seen more life in a crowd at at funeral. Rob Kearney is world class but is having a tough time at the moment. Not sure if we'll be much cop at the world cup next year but watching the U21 six nations this year i think the future looks good.

Thankfully England didnt beat France so we hold on to 2nd.
Sextons goal kicking must improve if he wants to keep the jersey. Despite O'Gara's inability to tackle an adult, his kicking is superb.

thats great news that they held on to second place..they really deserved it especially after that awsome display against the french in their first match and and the clinical way they finished out the championship yesterday..

Sexton should be given his place in forthcoming internationals as he is the future hopefully, he is just lacking in confidence. Im reading ROG book and he went through same problems starting out though not as bad. Sexton problem i think he doesnt put his misses behind him it affects him thats where expierience comes in.

Basically the management need to make a decision whether they want to win mickey-mouse triple crowns that aren't even a real trophy or build a team like Lievremont has done with the French that can challenge at the highest level and compete for a World Cup.
Taking Sexton off continuously in games is a joke, Lievremont gave Trinh-Duc a chance and he's developed into one of the best tens in the world. You only need to see the first try to know that Sexton offers us a completely different level of talent and attacking instinct that ROG just never will. (And I'm a huge ROG fan). Sexton didn't become a bad kicker over night, look at last year and Magners league stats etc, so it's purely a confidence thing. How can he develop the confidence when he's being pulled aside at the first sign of a tight match. How can he ever prove he can win us a game if this continues.
Nobody wanted to say it when we were beating mediocre teams in transition last year, but Kidney does appear to have a blind spot for his Munster players that he has developed over the last decade, which is fair enough i suppose, but I definitely feel Sexton and Cullen have been harshly treated so far this season.

Well to be honest the triple crown matters , the top players in ireland have the heineken cup and 6 nations to target every year. We dont win these things every year that they are novelty status.
Sexton got a fair go i thought, he was injured remember so he has played a lot of minutes he was available for.
Converted penalties and converted conversions are more important than flair in the modern game, you must acheive a very high successful rate to win games
Donnacha is still the number 4 he is better all round than cullen, the lineout problem yesterday was rory best , flannery must be considered again after that throwing display, best either got the calls wrong or missed his man
I thought the panel were right ireland were forcing the pass too much too often

silly allegation against Kidney. Very few contentious picks. Cullen Vs DOC is a coin toss so he goes with the younger player who is more likely to feature in WC. Sexton Vs ROG is a coin toss so he goes with the younger player who is more likely to feature in WC. Whats the problem? All good coaches use their 22 players now. If any criticism could be levelled at Kidney after Sat, it would be that he did not give Cronin a go at hooker after 60 mins when Best was having a mare.
