Race 1) Point Of Light. (Treble) A weak maiden. This one ran a smasher on his jumping debut at Gowran on Red Mills day when 4th to Capellanus and Ambitious Fan who won last week.
Race 2) Knockbrack Vic. The John Joe Walsh has had a very good run of late. This one was 5 lengths clear of the 3rd when beating subsequent winner Whatsabillion at Clonmel 3 weeks ago. A 6 lb penalty seems very fair.
Race 3) Liss Na Tintri. (Nap) This John Kiely mare is a class above the opposition. She was coming to win a similar race at Punchestown recently when coming a cropper at the last.
Race 4) Romanesco. (NB) Andrew Lynch should get a winning send off before his ride on Sizing Europe in the Arkle next week. Will have benefitted from his jumping debut at Fairyhouse 3 weeks ago when 3rd to Empire Theatre.
Race 5) Keat's Dream. The J J Walsh are in line for a double with this mare. She had an unsuccesful spell of it with Charlie Byrnes but now back in the care of Walsh her time may have arrived. A good 3rd in the Ladies Hurdle LTO to Red Basil at Thurles. Likely fav Carlosantana is not proven at the trip.
Race 6) Our Girl Salley. Katie walsh is in a rich vein of form. This mare has gone very close to winning a 2nd bumper. LTO she touched 5's on in running before being outpointed by Paul Nolan's Another Cliche.
