tipp were the team to beat this time 2 weeks ago. and after 2 games its back to normal again. tipp cant be as bad again but they would have wanted someone else this week.
Yip KK for me this time too @ 5/6, i think they win easy tbh
KILKENNY (NHL vTipperary): P.J. Ryan; C Hickey, B Hogan, J Dalton; T Walsh, J Tyrrell, J.J. Delaney; J Tennyson, P.J. Delaney; J Mulhall, M Rice, W O'Dwyer; R Hogan, E Larkin, A Fogarty Subs: D Herity, R O'Neill, J Ryall, N. Hickey, D Lyng, D Fogarty, S Cummins, M Grace, P Hogan.
Hopefully it will be a case of third time lucky as Kilkenny make the trip across to Thurles for the third time in two weeks for their NHL Division 1 encounter.
Both times the Cats and Tipp have been denied by the elements, as snow made the pitch too treacherous.
To be fair to the GAA they have handled the issue extremely well and the decision to allow free entry to Sunday's game should ensure a decent crowd for what was supposed to be a season opener under lights.
Both sides did get some game time under their belts last Sunday, but they had contrasting fortunes in doing so. Tipp were shocked by Dublin, while Kilkenny recorded a routine win over Offaly.
While some of their lacklustre performance can be put down to rustiness, the admission by Tipp manager Liam Sheedy that his side were beaten by a Dublin team that 'wanted it more' is very worrying for Premier fans.
The very least Tipp will have to do to dislodge league and Championship winners Kilkenny is match them for effort. In fact, they will have to want it more than the Cats if last season's defeats are to be reversed in 2010.
Sheedy has been forced to delay naming his side as he is waiting to see how six of his players get on in the latter stages of the Fitzgibbon Cup, which take place today and tomorrow.
Kilkenny boss Brian Cody habitually delays naming his side, but he hopes to be able to call on Richie Power despite the neck injury that forced him off and into an ambulance at Nowlan Park.
Fellow forward Eddie Brennan is also in line to make an appearance after he rejoined the squad following his wedding and honeymoon.
Two weeks ago, Tipp were looking to make a statement. On Sunday, they will be happy just not to be embarrassed.
Verdict: Kilkenny

Padraig Maher evidently picked up this year where he left off the last. Seriously talented this lad. Shame Joe Canning wont be playing when tipp and galway meet next sunday, what a contest that would be

Looked like the early season game it was. Players not fully wound up, finding their fitness levels. Pitch didn't help either. Still, at least WE won!!! Up Tipp and bring on the West next!
