Race 1) The Ride Aint Free. None of the established NH trainers have a runner here. This gives Jim Gorman's gelding who certainly ran way above his flat rating a definite chance on his 3rd to Cappellanus on Red Mills day.

Race 2) Lucky William. A chance is taken that the long journey from Tralee can result in victory for Tom Coooper's gelding who won a Maiden over the CD a fortnight ago from Cadspeed. Maybe without Pittoni.

Race 3) Tijuana Dancer. Tony Martin's gelding ran 3rd in a similar contest at Fairyhouse to Mr Clyde a fortnight ago. If the money arrives take the hint.

Race 4) City Of Doral. (Treble) This CD Northern challenger is on a roll and can complete the hat-trick by beating Nan's Best in a similar contest at Naas 3 weeks ago. O'Connell (7) impressed me for a jockey I never heard of at Naas.

Race 5) Arkendale. (Treble) Davy Russell is in a rich vein of form and he takes over here. A model of consistency, 3rd to Dooney's Gate in a similar contest, he should be thereabouts.

Race 6) Across The Bay. Meade's are very hit and miss at the moment. Carberry steered this one to an impressive victory over subsequent winner Kimberlite King at Naas 3 weeks. If he stays he wins.

Race 7) Nicanor. (Nap) 2nd to Kempes a winner today, at Fairyhouse a fortnight ago, should be good enough to see this one win in style.

Race 8) Baby Be Mine. Michael Smurfit is a blast from the past. It is nice to see his colours again and a 4th last season in a Maiden Hurdle at Mallow sets the standard. A poor turnout.

Out and about tomorrow ealry but back for the afternoon so look forward to the winners on here...

Will be having a few quid on Florimund though with the cheek pieces back on, thought he ran well at Leop and then at Fairyhouse when given too much to do, loves passing horses and has a smart enough change of gear, still ok mark and an e/w bet for me

Coole River is a fave of mine too so hope continues good run, will make a super chaser...

Good Luck!

One bet at Navan for me today - Schumpters Lad at 11/4 with £3.65. Forgive it the last run at Tramore and I think the form of any of its three runs prior to that would be good enough in a race lacking depth. The Dessie horse was travelling well on debut when falling but it was a long way out. Good luck all.

AN MHI just a word of caution on your double joey thought cayo was beat the last day and was amazed the way he stayed on to win today is a little better race and would not want to be taken a short price about this one today

thanks AC, i heard a little different report about why he suddenly went from looking like going nowhere to taking off - ye I think its a beter race having looked into it since i posted, but with testing ground i think he'll have to go close still of a mark they'll probably want to win again off.

1.35 The Pier [/b ]The highest rated of these on the flat and he should have no problem seeing out the trip having won twice at 1M 3F and once at 1M 4F on the flat and he will need to see out the trip on a demanding track like Navan. If taking to hurdles he should go close.
[b]2.05 Pittoni[/b ]Looks to be a two horse race between Pittoni and Coole River. It would be a close race between the two at level weights but i think Coole River will find it hard to concede 12lbs to a horse of Pittoni's calibre.
[b]2.35 Great Value
He was still travelling well when falling 4 out in the race won by Kerb Appeal LTO.This race looks a good bit weaker than that and if not feeling the effects of the fall he should go close.
3.10 Cantrell E/W. This is a tricky handicap and as i backed this fella LTO and i think he is well handicapped i am going to stick with him. Also think that Lisrenny Lady could be well handicapped aswell.
3.45 Barneys Honour Out again only 3 days after beating clear gold at Fairyhouse. He has a 6lb penalty to carry for that but the jockeys 7 lb claim negates that.He is stepping up in class today but if in the same form off a light weight he will take some beating.
4.15 Hangover (NAP)r Looks a two horse race between the selection and Across the Bay.Hangover should just see out the trip better though.
4.50 No Bet
5.20 No Bet

I think Hangover is a moral certainty to beat Across The Bay. He is much more consistent, a stronger galloper and Meades was flattered by the supreme ride he got the last day. Fill your boots.

Fancy Jetson in the bumper too. He is a well bred individual from a powerful stable and if Baby Be Mine is the best the opposition has to offer then I would be bitterly disappointed if he couldnt win

The Post says This Ride Ain't Free's Gowran run came "out of the blue" - even though it was effectively his hurdling debut! 6.8 seems very big here, I rate that Gowran form very highly. Winner a leading Fred Winter fancy.

Eye,
I guess what he means is that the horse was s***e on the flat so the fact that he showed anything at all over hurdles was out of the blue.
