It started snowing at 6-45 when I was taking my seat.

It's a shame the snow arrived, and of course even the GAA can't alter the course of nature, but to continue allowing people pay through the turnstiles when the game was in serious doubt was nothing short of a disgrace.
I realise it's only €15 and that there's no need to be printing tickets for a league game, but in this day and age would it not be possible to get some kind of receipt when you hand over your cash going in the turnstile?
As I said, I'm not going to starve for not getting a refund and fair play to them for agreeing to free entry the next day, but it's €15 of my cash that I won't be getting back as I won't be able to make the rearranged fixture.

The GAA get a lot of unfair criticism but, Christ, sometimes they just leave themselves open to it.

AIB All-Ireland club SFC semi-finals

Kilmurry-Ibrickane (Clare) 1-14 0-08 Portlaoise (Laois), Gaelic Grounds Full Time

Portlaoise had a man sent off in the opening minute or so.....and another half way through the second half.....were second best by a long way for most of the game.

Because they hammered KK in Nowlan Park last year, beat them in Thurles in the league final and beat them in September. Oh and KK are only playing 9 of their All Ireland winning team against how many of the Tipp team from September?

Nope I haven't the foggiest why Tipp are odds on either.

yeah but that was just to annoy you blaaaa lads. And sure didn't you take to beating their poor all star and reducing him to tears to win that match.

I was more disappointed that Carla at 3/1 only lost by a point to Antrim.

You were unlucky with that bet alright. As much have Dublin progressed in recent years, they still have a bit to more work to do, however at Parnell park they may catch a couple of the top teams in the coming weeks

Must be fairly annoying for those Kilkenny fans who made the journey up twice. Wonder had many fans arrived at the stadium or what time did the Gaa decide to call it off

I wasn't travelling, but my brother was half way before he got a phonce call from a KK panel member to let him know it was off.

I'd imagine anyone coming from further afield was more or less there.
