Im off to the Tipp game at Thurles on sat, from Cricklewood. Hoping for a big game from my boys, the Premier county. About time we got one over the cats!!!! Up Tipp

what will galways margin of victory be in kilmallock...heard limerick gave a strong enough clare lots of it in newmarket last saturday...galway missing the portumna boys is a help but a 8 or 9 point loss would be my guess....

Dublin value against the blaaaas as about 10 of the waterford team are out including kelly and mcgrath. Carlow at 3/1 worth a sniff. And I wouldn't be rushing in with your hard earned on Tipp until you hear the Kilkenny team - Kavanagh is definitely being rested after St Lachtains great All Ireland win and the Ballyhale boys will be out, however, it depends who else will be rested. I certainly wouldn't be backing Tipp at 6/5 let alone evens.

tipp team very strong looking.kk will be short a good few key players.tipp were in hard luck not to beat a full strength kk team in all ire.if they want to win they should...i think its a max bet

Larkin, Lyng, Hickey and possibly Tennyson are all out, add to that the Ballyhale lads and Mick Kav, and you have a seriously weakened KK side.

P.J. Ryan, C. Hickey, B. Hogan, J. Dalton, T. Walsh, J.Tyrrell, J.J. Delaney, W. O'Dwyer, P.J. Delaney, R. Hogan, M. Rice, A. Fogarty, M. Grace, M. Comerford, R. Power
That's the KK team, stronger than I expected tbh, wouldn't go near 5/6 now :D

no larkin, shefflin or brennan for a half forward line. he has still strong hurlers to take there place. if rhe odds stay going out, kilkenny will be worth a bet.
offaly are too long to beat cork.

Tipp match should have been called off at 7pm or earlier, pitch was blatantly not going to be playable in the conditions.....
This 'give it 15 minutes and we'll see' krap was a farce and purely designed to get as much cash at the turnstiles as possible, given they knew any rescheduled match would have to be free admission.

it didnt start snowing until 7pm so its pointless saying it should have been off then.Free admission well its the way to go.I paid 20 quid into leopardstown to see one race last Christmas and there were no refunds, you didn't hear any uproar when it was the HRI that were involved

It started snowing at 6-45 when I was taking my seat.
It's a shame the snow arrived, and of course even the GAA can't alter the course of nature, but to continue allowing people pay through the turnstiles when the game was in serious doubt was nothing short of a disgrace. I realise it's only 15 and that there's no need to be printing tickets for a league game, but in this day and age would it not be possible to get some kind of receipt when you hand over your cash going in the turnstile? As I said, I'm not going to starve for not getting a refund and fair play to them for agreeing to free entry the next day, but it's 15 of my cash that I won't be getting back as I won't be able to make the rearranged fixture.
The GAA get a lot of unfair criticism but, Christ, sometimes they just leave themselves open to it.

Kilmurry-Ibrickane (Clare) 1-14 0-08 Portlaoise (Laois), Gaelic Grounds Full Time
Portlaoise had a man sent off in the opening minute or so.....and another half way through the second half.....were second best by a long way for most of the game.

Because they hammered KK in Nowlan Park last year, beat them in Thurles in the league final and beat them in September. Oh and KK are only playing 9 of their All Ireland winning team against how many of the Tipp team from September?
Nope I haven't the foggiest why Tipp are odds on either.

yeah but that was just to annoy you blaaaa lads. And sure didn't you take to beating their poor all star and reducing him to tears to win that match.
I was more disappointed that Carla at 3/1 only lost by a point to Antrim.

You were unlucky with that bet alright. As much have Dublin progressed in recent years, they still have a bit to more work to do, however at Parnell park they may catch a couple of the top teams in the coming weeks

Must be fairly annoying for those Kilkenny fans who made the journey up twice. Wonder had many fans arrived at the stadium or what time did the Gaa decide to call it off

I wasn't travelling, but my brother was half way before he got a phonce call from a KK panel member to let him know it was off.
I'd imagine anyone coming from further afield was more or less there.
