Could not believe the one last night. Im trying to remember it. There was three number. I think it was 1+8+27 = . The one had two matches the eight was done in matches and the 27 the same. The solution was some equation. I trying to find it on there website. I sending a complaint. Its a joke. I have not rang it as i know its a rip off but hate to see these parasites rip people off.

No i didnt watch it all. Say it at the start and was watching something else came back at the end. Its some rip off. They must be raking it in. I think they are banned in the uk or just banned from itv. As i know itv used to run one in the uk. Now they are doing it from northern ireland and irish players are allowed.

I'm fairly sure it's one one of the (main) UK t.v. stations (thought it was ITV too as it's on at the same time as it's Irish equivalent).

I hate the nordy they have on it shes so harsh. Saw it once where the guy presenter was breaking himself laughing as some old dude got through about 5 times saying "I definately know thw answer" before guessing wrong

Totally its a total rip off. Tonight they are easy but only started watching a bit just to see if it was the same as the one they removed in england. Its a worse rip off. Playing on the vulnerable. Total rip off. The BCC has upheld something like 29 complaints. In england that would result in a hugh fine and been taken off the air. Here its still running.

Three captials jumbled. No call now for about 25 mins.

No call for 35 mins. The regulator in this country must be as bad as everything else.

Still no caller.

Finished game of poker. Still no caller. Stoping watching it now. These cunnnts really should be locked up. Its the same as theft.

And then she takes the** out of the viewers by saying "nobody has got the right answer yet" I wonder why.Oh wait ,they wont **ing take any calls .Wonkers

Nearly an hour without a caller. I swear im on a mission to get this banned. Its run from a studio in budapest. It runs in loads of countries. It was banned in the uk.

I am with you on this one. I saw it a cuple of weeks back and thionk they gave a clue about something white and located in teh house. I kept flicking back to find out what it was but about two hours later still no answer and people still calling in. I went to bed and never found out ... to this day I still wonder

Theres a regulator alright. They upheld i think 32 out of 33 complaints so far. But where as in england they ended up being fined and removed i dont think they have any powers. Or if they do they are not using them. Typical of us. TV3 should be ashamed of themselves as they are getting a cut or getting paid to let 3 hours to these parasites.

Dont know but i reckon they are making a shed load. Someone kid done 400 eur on his dads home phone on night. In england they made millions before it was banned. I remember in the uk they where getting 400 calls a minute. Dont know what it is here as they dont have to tell. They are making alot out of it. And will continue to do so till its banned. They are in canada as well dont know if they are banned there yet.

How are they getting away with this scam. Watched a bit last night towards the end. Don't know how long the show went on for. Some triangle puzzle. Presenter said she had 160 wrong answers so i figure it was on for a while. Think calls cost 1.50 per minute. Then towards the end the last caller got money even if they got the wrong answer. The wrong answer amount was the actual puzzle answer. She kept saying its the last two minutes for about twenty five minutes. How are they getting away with this scam. Presenter saying we need to give you more time because i want to give away money is stupid. Also saying theres no one ringing in to take the money is just plain lies. ITV did this before and i think where slated for it and had to take the show of the air. ITV own some of TV3 so i think they are trying the same trick this side of the pound. Gangsters.

I was stupid enough after a few cans of cider to ring in one night and spend around twenty quid. Its a total scam. Why are they allowed rip people off? I know its Ireland and we allow people get away with ripping off etc but this show takes the biscuit. People gamble more in a recession and Im sure there are many unfortunates losing their rent and food budgets on this scam!

I would never ring this shower. However i bet their's many who do. Although some will say those that ring are stupid to and i agree with this to a large extent. What gets me is their is regulations and a govering body who should be stoping this robbery and thats what it is. Its such a scam. The presenters are also gob**ees. How do they live with theirselves.

must of rang them 30 times one night in the space of hr an never got tru.
go to play tv website, they get anyting from 30 to 100 call a minute.
mean average wel say 70calls x e1.50 = 105 x 180mins = e18900 per night.
must take this biz model to another country,money for nothing

Turnover could be.......
say ONLY 20 calls @ €1.50 x 160 min = €4,800/night x 7 days therefore
33,600/wk x 52 weeks = €1,747,200 annum (less Tv rights & broadcast costs, wages, prizes, etc)

x by 20 countries (the size of Eire).............. ]:)

Basically it is exploitation of vulnerable people.

Anytime anyone rings in, it is either;

A) A young naive female possibly called 'Nahalee'
B) A bog ignorant farmer from Westmeath, usually called Brian.
OR
c) Some poor old person who guesses something that's been guessed 45 times already.

Should be taken off the air.

Anybody see the one where you have to add up the numbers on a soccor team, no matter who many different ways I try to come up with an answer i'm nowhere near theirs.

Probably roman numerals etc. They just make it up.

In South Africa they have the same nonsense with a Dublin girl presenting.....on holiday last couple of weeks we were flicking through the channels and heard the Irish accent. Same old nonsense wih a few slight twists....the answer is obvious and easy to spot but they just don't bother taking incorrect calls so there never seemed to be a call.....and the prize money was about 53c.

Read a piece on the Sunday Times some weeks ago about Play TV.
There have been numerous complaints already.
If I remember correctly, TV3 has already made in excess of 300k from this broadcast.
The PlayTv website gives the answers the following day.
The example question/solution quoted in the piece I read was a picture of Brad Pitt, with 12 sets of eyes & callers had to guess which set of eyes were Brad's.
Of course, by the end, every set of eyes had been guessed & the game finished with no winner.
The correct answer was several sets of eyes were Brad's so to get the correct answer you had to say, 1, 5, 8, 9, 10 & 12 (for example)
