in my experiences now with punting through d years, 90% of stable tips get turned over. The tips can come from many an various sources from good cross section of stables but backing big on them is the quickest way to the poor house.
After 40 years studying the form, I have given up studying form.
I ended up even steven last year.
This year I am up a couple of ton.
My new policy.
I lay the favs on here morning prices when I don't go racing.
At the races
1) I usually back the jolly at best price ( David Kearney etc)
2) Throw a few bob on a whisper. (Kilty Storm at 14/1 on here Sun)
3) Watch the Oddschecker steamers for on course money or maybe a mad price on here.
Stable tips if used properly WILL make you a few pound.

nearly 70% would go close, but the rest can run stinkers.
I hate when reading the form an it turns out to be a complete waste of time like some horse that was held up for a few races an bolts in. Its good when formlines stand up tho
Prob the best thing to hear is when a trainer rates a horse highly, u can put it on the watch list and make ur mind up from their on then.
Jockey tips can also be disaster. The Chelt preview nights should be fun!

You can study form all day long but if you can't interprete the form you are wasting your time. I have some very good contacts in some of the top stables and I can safely say that if I were to back their tips I would have been in the poor house years ago. The only way to make money is to study the form properly and look for the value.
