I think its something wrong with the registry but not sure. How much would it cost to**roughly. Anyone know anyone who fixes computers cheaply.

I think unless its a very good labtop it would be better to buy a new one. If you get it fixed it will cost a good bit and the same problem could come back. Plus im sure you could find a labtop cheap

get a student to look at it

if he/she can't**it, they can at least wipe it and put on a new O.S.

I had Windows XP for the past 3 years. It's absoulte shoite, got Windows 7 now and my 3 yr old laptop with only a little bit of extra RAM is working miles better.

Depends how much money you turnover. Need a decent computer, Id say change every two years.
