Race 1) Paddy O'Dee. A weak Maiden Hurdle. 4th to Prince Of Fire in a competitive maiden hurdle at xmas ought to go close here. Townend not riding this time is a negative.
Race 2) Our Nana Rose. Andrew Thornton is back in the saddle which is a plus. A close 4th here last time to Action Master.
Race 3) Gold Cygnet. 2nd to highly regarded Kauto Relko at cork last month should be good enough to go close here.
Race 4) Vinnies Friend. 2nd to Baily Rock in a novice handicap at Leop over the xmas. Didn't seem a good race. But this aint much better.
Race 5) Newmill. A chance is taken on Newmill who has been a model of consistency this season. Ran a cracker at Chel last time against Well Chief Master Minded etc. A cracker of a race.
Race 6) Tilly Ann. A sporting chance is taken on Tilly Ann getting a lot of weight from all her opponents. Beat Cru up the North last time.
Race 7) No selection. No idea of the Point to Point scene.

Looking forward to seeing Hail Caeser in the 4yr old race... remember seeing him on his debut in Tipp as a 2 yr gave the impression he could have gone on to better things.... sure he cost O'Connell a pretty penny, he normally buys NH types unusual diversion

PP go 7/1 Newmill :0 That looks too tempting, hard to see him out of the two. I agree with newmill how do you think snowy morning will fair on heavy ground its fair to say he does not like it heavy but has run well in last 2 runs on testing conditions on the prices I wld go with newmill everytime just cant see snowy morning can win on heavy but im open to be proved wrong what do you think folks

To those that think that Davy did nothing wrong on Vinnies I suggest they watch his usual method of keeping wide for the better ground versus his tactic on vinnies of keeping to the inner on the worst ground.

The Fonze as Prospero exploited is a Tramore specialist. Vinnies Friend has a kink I reckon. Last time he came from the next parish. Hail Caesar at 11/4 had to be a lay at 11/4. I know it is after timing. |
