... a top class darts player. You would think that an activity which mainly takes place in pubs would have played in the hands of Irish people and that we could have unearthed at least one World Champion.

its because irish pubs just have lads sitting around drinking and chatting
we're all a bunch of blabberhead
in england pubs have loads of activities like pool, snooker, quizes, dart leagues and karoke nights
so they will produce the dart players as they have the leagues the length and breth of the country

they did but they didnt qualify cause he was too drunk !
Just leave the Irish Pub as it is.If you need the british system of pubs in order to produce a dart player i will gladly do without cheering on someone at Ally Pally.

Totally Agree, any time i have been in a english pub and picked up darts was because it was empty.

watched some darts the other day, couldnt believe the standard was so high, throwing those darts like
