Down Royal/Sunday?

so inspection tomorrow for saturday and if that go's then an insprection will be held on saturday for sunday. Am i correct?

I gathered an inspection tomo @ 10.00am to see if Saturday can go ahead but may be further inspection on Saturday @ 7.00am if there is a possibility of Saturday going on.If Saturday cancelled the Boxing Day Card will be held on Sunday.

Continuing very cold tonight with patches of freezing fog. A widespread severe frost with temperatures falling to between minus 4 and minus 8 degrees.

A cold and frosty start to Christmas day. Rain, preceded by sleet and snow in places, spreading from the southwest in the afternoon and evening.
Frost slowly clearing and temperatures reaching between zero to 3 degrees.

i don't think it will pass inspection was down around that area today and still a good covering of snow on the roads and fields and its not getting any warmer

Unraceable on Friday, another inspection on sat to decide boxing day fixture.

inspection at 3pm tomorrow and meeting hopefully take place on the 27th.

DOWN ROYAL has postponed its meeting on Saturday until Sunday - weather permitting.

Officials initially checked the racecourse at 10am on Friday but found it to be unraceable with snow and frost on the ground, and a second inspection was announced for 6pm. However, conditions had not improved sufficiently and the decision was taken to abandon its Saturday fixture.

A further inspection will take place at 3pm on Saturday to see if the course is fit for racing on Sunday. Overnight declarations stand.
