We won our first U21 title (Kildare) in 30 years yesterday, and only our second ever, in that grade.
Great bunch of young lads, beat St. Laurences 0-15 to 0-4. Pulling from a parish with 2 teams-Johnstownbridge (Intermediate) and Clougherinkoe (Junior).
5 of the lads that were on the St. Marys Edenderry team that were so unlucky in the schools final earlier in the year played (all still minor next year :0).
Might lose Paul Cribben (aussie rules deal done) but a lot to look forward to in this corner of Kildare.
