Only found out this now.

A true legend of irish broadcasting and such a supporter of traditional irish music. I remember him and his wife Dolly coming to my home in the 1970s. I will never forget his snow white hair, his soft dulcet tones, and his grace. Dolly would then sing and her voice was that of an angel.

On a night when most people are watching the tripe of x-factor, God bless Ciaran. A gentleman and a great.
