There was a great programme on RTE about Liam and the boys a month ago. It was brilliant.

Bloody hell - not so long since Tommy Makem went too - he looked like he had years left in him when he was interviewd about Tommy. Very sad to hear this - they were some team. RIP

Rte have that show online, go to the story on news and follow the links to their vid player.

Resurrected Irish music onto a world stage initially . Passed the baton on later , now we are recognised world wide as important contributors in the music world . What a legacy to have played a vital role in !

Responsible too for mega sales of Irish knits ! Great expression and voice .
