I'm quite surprised he actually didnt get six years or something, I believe this is actually the first ever recorded case in history of a person going to work hungover in Ireland.

His loss of earnings will be in order of 35k based on last year. So effectively fined 40k . That is very harsh.
They should have taken time of year into account.

Didn't take long to hear poor Paul Carberry was stood down for failing a breath test. A chap told me they will have to make an example this time and someone on this forum said he could be stood down for a month.
This was what was predicted at Naas the day he was over the limit and it comes to pass.
