Who's next?

Giant - Nothing has been decided yet. FAI are meeting the Derry Board tomorrow

I was just posting what TV3 were reporting earlier. Doesn`t look to be confirmed but it appears just a case of crossing the t`s etc. Real shame for the league. Kenny to Pats I`d imagine.

sad news, great club too

The man who is the current Chairman should never been in this position. Not qualified to run a Football Club. They were spending money they couldn't afford. i.e training trips to Spain, £1000 per week for some players. WTF it's only Irish football. It had to end up this way

agreed kriskin, but the english premier league is the same, once one goes in there, the banks will put the squeeze on another half dozen.
FIFA need to get a grip of that league, have they not been watching world events for the last 18 months ? |

By:

By:

By:
a big feelin..... derry very tempting.....
By:
im on

Given todays developments, Why are Derry trading as low as 2.2 here AWAY to Dundalk tonight?
Absolute madness! |
By:
Cos all of Dundalk's players haven't trained this week apparently. You gotta love the LOI.
By:
But Dundalk released a statement to the contrary .. very true though, only in the LOI could there be so much uncertainty regarding what was at stake in just about every game tonight
By:
More than that to it EMI.
By:
Dundalk-Derry game looks like a 3 letter word that starts with F and ends in IX
By:
PP gone 8/15 derry !
By:

By:
expekt still going 6/5. This happened a few weeks back with galway and dundalk yeah? Galway were lumped on and lost 3-0 in the end.
By:

By:
No idea just looking at their price here:

By:
Might be a different story tonight Oliver.
By:
Yeah could by the look of things. I just have dundalk dnb in a treble @ 19/10. Put that on 10 mins before I read this thread *tut*.
By:
Dundalk a truly incredible price tonight. Whats the story here?. If the odds are borne out on the pitch there should be a "stewards" enquiry.
By:
Paddies go 7/2 Dundalk
have a look at how much you can get on |
By:
dundalk wont win
By:
that wasn't my point
By:
i know that
By:
You imagine if you were a Derry player you see this game as your last chance to show you deserve a decent contract somewhere for next season and would go out there and burst a gut.
Whats the point anyway in taking it easy tonight when you know your off for the next few months. But we see :0 |
By:
Relegation is the least of our worries.
From what i have seen and heard there might not even be a Derry City Football club as we know it next season. It's an absolute joke the sums of money which were spent with no concern at all. The current board of Derry City could not run a bath. Hopefully now the league will realise that the idea of full-time football in this country is an impossible ideal. |
