A long time and strong supporter of Betfair and betting exchanges in general, I was heavily involved in lobbying throughout Australia in the time before using Betfair was legal in Australia.
Founder of the Exchange Action Group in 2004, I was quoted in national newspapers, parliament and interviewed on sport radio where I challenged the then CEO of Racing Victoria to a public debate (he declined and threatened to have me arrested !!!!)
Also used to post under the nom de plum of Norbert Raisin, I have made many friends through my involvement in betting exchanges.
Although I dropped off the forums when we achieved success in Tasmania, I remain a keen user.
I now bet using a hybrid strategy of trading and finding value. I do OK out of it.....
