And yes BFool it is completely staged and obviously you do t think that the lack of AIrForce use by the Ruskies has prolonged the war.

The canon fodder or meat grinder are what the people are in the kazi Gazza, expendable.

Whilst old boys and some younger women are on the front line shooting down drones or snapping the fibre optic cables used on the new drones the rest are partying away in Chicken Kiev going to art events, concerts swilling wine!

It’s a far cry from what Londoners and the other Brits in big cities went through during the Blitz.

To add a little bit to my opening post...Spoons have denied that there's a blanket ban on wearing poppies, in fact they sell them as has already been pointed out
This was a decision made locally by the security staff, backed by the pub manager, who refused entry to the man/men unless the poppy was taken off...they claimed it could be seen as a political statement.

Seems a bit odd to refuse entry unless you take your poppy off, but you can buy one inside?...Although I guess, probably not in this particular spoons,in Gosport?

If you don't like jdw thar is summit wrong with you, decent beer and food at a reasonable price, where else is the cost so reasonable?

Came back stronger than ever after lockdown, SP up a tasty 60% this year @ £10 +.

As for why people were asked to remove poppies at jdw, seems there were some local issues and no doubt it was done for a reason.
Should it have been done? I don't no and don't care I like jdw, patriots and the symbolism of the poppy as a show of respect.

Wearing a poppy is not compulsary and never has been anywhere, its part of the freedoms that were fought for.  Our Armed Services need all the help and  support they can get not to mention those that  paid the ultimate sacrifice, been injured or suffer from mental health issues as a result of war.

I always donate and always have a thought for the fallen on Remberance Day, if you don't want to wear or donate fair enough but don't blabber on about being forced or try and pigeon hole others that observe the tradition.

NEWS RELEASE – WEARING POPPIES IN WETHERSPOON PUBS CORRECTION

A highly misleading headline in the Daily Mail (26 October) says: “Fury as Wetherspoon BANS veterans from entering if wearing a poppy” In fact, Wetherspoon has not banned veterans wearing poppies.

Wetherspoon is a long-standing supporter of the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal and sells poppies in its pubs.

Last year, for example, the pubs raised £55,867 for the appeal.

There was a demonstration in Gosport on Sunday, near Wetherspoon’s Star pub and there were extra security measures in place.

Unfortunately, some poppy wearers, and other members of the public, were refused entry.

On the advice of the police, the pub was closed for the rest of the day. The pub has now re-opened and Wetherspoon has apologised to customers for the inconvenience.

Wetherspoon chairman Tim Martin said: “Wetherspoon is a longstanding supporter of the Royal British Legion and sells poppies on its behalf every year in the pubs. Wetherspoon never has, and never would, instruct its staff to turn away people because they are wearing poppies.”

The toffees hpwever ended up winning 3-2 with a last minute howitzer of a free kick from Andy Hinchcliffe securing the points.

i,d imagine 80% of racegoers [ include myself in that 80% ] at chelt would rather be drinking beer lager, cider etc but go for the guiness as a  tradition,  keep reading about this alcohol free version, but whats the point, why ?
i,d be expecting it to taste like cold black coffee ,what is the actual taste REG ?
