Good morning reg
As you ask what is this country coming to I must admit I didn’t have weatherspoons coming up with a decision like this,my guess is there share will go down today. |
By:
Reg I’ve read up on this weatherspoons do not have this policy at all they in fact sell poppies in there pubs ,this thankfully was a security decision in gosport due to protest marches taking place.
Off course that doesn’t make it right. |
By:
they are saying on the msm news that we should prepare for war , many on here will be too old including plans being proposed to raise the conscription age limit to 65 for army reservists .
By:
Good morning foyles
What is msm news ? |
By:
..FOYLES...." they" have been saying that the Russians are coming for the last 50 years !...
![]() The armaments industry is one of the World's biggest..and cannot tolerate peace.........they are the equivalent of a motor tyre vendor spreading nails onto a road. We are actually suffering an invasion currently..... |
By:
Jim...it's main stream media
By:
jimnast i dont watch much tv or news but get some news /bullshyte when i turn the laptop on and assume that is msm news ...richgit is correct they were banging on about stocking up on food in the event of war and as a result clowns emptying the shelves of my local supermarket .
By:
richgit also spot on about the invasion.
By:
Thanks to you both for explaining

Lots of MSM hide behind the sofa…..BBC & ITV vomit…..
There’s a plethora of channels if you have satellite that show the lot…..no hiding place. Mainstream have lots of guests you would like to turn the fireman’s hose on….. |
By:
Beans and batteries Jimnast….the end is nigh….oh and bottles of water, spare a thought for people who don’t drive humping all that water home….
By:
Well form if the end is nigh at least we won’t have to put up with having constitution hill updates and news anymore
By:
Incidentally weatherspoons share price increased this morning
By:
Great way to get people spending!
Met a fella yesterday, his wife had bought a wind up radio! |
By:
We’re under threat from our adversaries but are allowing the main supplier (Chnga) to build a Super Embassy here?
Sort it out and f ‘em all off! The WAR in Ukrain is a training ground for new tech and new war strategy. Not one Mig has flown over Chicken Kiev and dumped anything! C London faced more onslaught from the air during the Blitz! So ask yourselves why NO Airforce is engaged in attacks there? The slow game, put pressure on the rest of Euro sit back and watch it collapse. |
By:
War it’s NOT it’s a staged conflict.
By:
Trenches, dig in (stalemate) back then answer was mustard gas, until the plane (Blitzkrieg), now drones.
We’ve come a long way. Talk of WarGAMES is dangerous as it softens its meaning, watch out for much more of this terminology. British and Frogletere Paras had a WarGAME in Germany this weekend. Oh what fun! |
By:
Delashay et al, the stocking up advice was in case of a cyber failure not in case of war. The UK conduct exercises every year at this time Delashay , nothing new.
By:
“Defence Secretary warns Britain must be ready for war within 1,000 days”
The headline on the TV C&P from the photo. No need to type it even! |
By:
War as cover
By:
Same as ever
By:
It’s scare mongering it’s not difficult to use the correct terminology, stock up in case the system is wrecked by a cyber attack.
It’s a diversion from the problems the gov face here |
By:
And it’s wrong to use the word WAR in earshot of a regime who twist and turn everything said to favour their propaganda.
By:
^ pretty much every gov does that
By:
Well this new leader has gone for two scare tactics and making claims that aren’t substantiated, first the Ruskies effected breshit now this.
None mentioned under Stammer seems a porky pie merchant already. |
By:
Cyber…..just as well……Uk would struggle tbh……..Finland 1 million trained and ready…….
By:
Cagliari is best for advice,ex soldier…..
By:
You can’t see that it’s all staged? Even the Ukrain affair?
By:
As for wearing Poppies that fat blk wack news reader on I T Vee
Won’t wear one as she says she’s non political or something, that’s ok you don’t have to wear a pink ribbon a rainbow whatever, the POPPY is different. She should show some respect or go earn a wage off air. |
By:
People who refuse the poppy should be deported to some third world cesspit…..
By:
No one should be forced into a 'gesture' of any kind IMO. But banning wearers equally wrong.
By:
they wernt banned for wearing anything ,the pub was advised not to open tothose getting involved in marches, protests, jst like every football fan has experienced a 1000 times ,anytime over the last 50 yrs,

You can’t see that it’s all staged? Even the Ukrain affair? please enlighten us. thats some stageshow. brutal dictator putin invades friendly neighbour, empties the prisons to use as cannon fodder, chucks in some north korean slave soldiers,750 000 dead, ukraine destroyed, thousands of children kidnapped for brainwashing, millions of refugees, enormous cost upwards of a trillion quid, the biggest disaster since ww2, and no sign of ending who is behind this fake war iyo? and what is its purpose? if you are correct this is some effort from all concerned, what a show theyve putin imagine the logistics involved getting all the scandis and baltic states and us mugs to go along with it. must have taken some organising, incredible |
By:
I've just ordered three boxes of pom pom and a hamper from F & M just in case to add the ham is exquisite if you have to go go in style and well oiled.
By:
'So who do you think you are kidding Mr. Akhbar'
