Just  got back to the appartment after a lovely tapas washed down with a lovely bottle of red having a nice brandy weather report a very mild evening no rain and no wind. Actually a very pleasant evening.

Off tomorrow with 50mph gusts forecast and fingers crossed for Saturday imo. But with winds not forecast till afternoon, they might try to get in the first couple of races and then bank on the microclimate (or is that just in March?).

Wouldn't it be ironic, given the forecast, if the fav in the first...Sunny South West...obliged?...Cheltenham is considered to be in the South West, btw, whereas Evesham, for eg, only about 10 miles North of the course is South Midlands

The rain was torrential  through th early  hours not raining at the moment but the sky is Grey i  would bet long odds on it will be soft even heavy on Saturday.

They're coping with the hurricane conditions pretty well so far. It could almost pass for being autumnal.

Went up, Soft but not testing, should be similar tomorrow...looks like most racing be done by time the next rain arrives.
