Not easy to win those Kempton maidens, looks a nice horse.
Report uptheirons • October 21, 2026 6:46 PM BST
An Industry SP of 9/1 suggests that they didn't.
Nevertheless,well done
Report HoratioNelson • October 21, 2026 6:46 PM BST
Agreed TD....ran on well
Report TameTheTiger • October 21, 2026 6:46 PM BST
did he pay 60k for it as a yearling ?
Report the dealer • October 21, 2026 7:00 PM BST
Not sure TTT but looking at some of his social media, £50K and above is normal
Report TameTheTiger • October 21, 2026 7:19 PM BST
yes i saw a couple of utube vids where he bought horses a few weeks ago for around that much, but i didnt realise he did the same last year. The video tomorrow will be a good watch.
Report scoobytoo • October 21, 2026 7:31 PM BST

600 for a 1% share, then 40 a month to train it. Prizemoney tonight was 5,400 so thats £54 each back already.

does it cost 4k a month to train a horse ?
Report uptheirons • October 21, 2026 7:53 PM BST
No,TTT
Report scoobytoo • October 21, 2026 7:57 PM BST
TTT owners pocket 80% of prize money.

Obviously when horses are out of training the fees should go do down (ie flat-say Nov-Feb). 48 large p.a does seem as though it isn't great VFM.

He comes across a decent spud imv……if i was interested in that sort a thing i wouldn’t hesitate to join…
Report TameTheTiger • October 21, 2026 7:59 PM BST
i hope no one is in it for the money

As Aceform bleats about paying £97 per month for his Heating, that is extremely unlikelyLaugh
Report the dealer • October 21, 2026 8:02 PM BST
The business plan is heavily weighted in his favour. He seems to have a market for his product though.
Report formoftheace • October 21, 2026 8:02 PM BST
He has to put a cap on how many people can join…..
Report uptheirons • October 21, 2026 8:03 PM BST
Why need a cap?
The more "gullibles" the better

I live too far away Ironage tbh…..plus the desire to go racing has gone……

Somebody is clearly in it for the money,TTTLaugh

A cap is good if they win a group one or classic…..then they are guaranteed for a good payday

Middleham park never seem to celebrate large bonuses…..how many members ?
Report TameTheTiger • October 21, 2026 8:25 PM BST
Middleham Park Racing has over 1,400 individual owners and members across more than 120 active racehorse syndicates, with an average of about 16 to 20 registered owners per individual horse syndicate

Basher is a bullshatter,as proved by the aftertiming get outs on numerous occasions on youtube.
That is the difference between them

He  Bought one at the sales 100 K week or so ago , 40 x 2.5 % shares  ,  Plus the fees  ,2.5 bags,  oner a Month there after , they all seem happy Enough

He seems to provide Exec box for the Owners , where's that Money come from ?
Report TameTheTiger • October 21, 2026 10:26 PM BST
money for the boxes comes from the prizemoney won by the owners themselves if ive read it right.
Report TameTheTiger • October 21, 2026 10:28 PM BST
You pay upfront to own your share and then an all inclusive payment of £40 per month per 1% to cover all of the costs associated with having a horse in training. All of the owners money goes into a pot, all the invoices come out of that pot and whatever is left in the pot goes back to you owners at the end of the year or we can use it to have a huge day in a box etc.
Report the old nanny ;-) • October 21, 2026 10:37 PM BST
g luck to them

Think it was a GBB race so £20k bonus
Report TameTheTiger • October 22, 2026 10:28 AM BST
yes it was. bash said 14k to the owners 7k to the breeders. maths not his strong point.
Report TameTheTiger • October 22, 2026 10:29 AM BST
When a registered horse wins a GBB race, the bonus payout is distributed among the team:
• Racing Owner: 65%
• Breeder: 20% (split or combined via registration rules)
• Trainer: 7.5%
• Jockey: 5%
• Stable Staff: 2.5%
Report HoratioNelson • October 22, 2026 10:35 AM BST
I presume the horses value will have now increased...probably more that than backing the horse. All about the dream isn't it. Good on them.
