the resident jonah ! every shop had one  who could stop the tide coming and  in put the greatest jumper of a fence on the floor !

The superstitious gamblers stood there who actually believed the Jonah had an effect on results...

Passive smoking - as liked both pubs and bookies, think that even though I've never smoked my lungs by 22 years old thought I had!
