Some of these photos you cant possibly pick the the winner, we're talking a nostril at times the that close even the guys on the panel cant separate them , but the betting is showing 1.01 and sometimes you cant even get that , I find it amusing when one of the panel guys says its impossible to call but the betting is showing 1.01 -100/1. Am I blind or does someone have access to seeing the print? at one time you could get fair prices on the photo betting now its just laughable.

Disagree you still wouldn't back 1.01 1,02 at worse they should be 1.2

I agree, that one at Hamilton just now, no way could I have made the winner 1.01 on the rtv feed.

Probably based on the angle and the true line. But it still requires iron balls when it appears there's a pixel in it.
cos every quid is a task these days..i said to a mate that race at Hamilton its won an inch and unbackable..thats the way it is now.
photos always been my earner..but you can only win a decent amount if they have won an inch and wide apart..ie need to use judgement.
im very very cautious these days as only takes a big loss on a foto then a stewards to wipe a month out.
It's tighter than in the past, but add in the risk of inquiries you'd need your bumps felt betting 1/50 on something like that. It's only going to end up one way, and that's not positive!
Surely the GPS software plays a big part? I notice a big change about 8 months ago.
I don't feel like the result is known, but perhaps angles or footage not broadcast.
The GPS is in the saddle isn't it,so how can that help?
there was a photo yesterday where the runners saddle was in front of the winners..winner was still very short..obv different size horses mean the pgs could be behind the second as yesterday.
My hypothesis is a close up slo mo, captured but ordinarily not broadcast on rtv

in running certainly is..photos looks that way.
I've had similar conclusions, but it's not every track/photo. If it looks a relative coinflip, but the market suggests it's obvious, I don't play.
im suprised havent pulled betting on photos..cant see how they can be beating people.
BF can stand the odd small losses but get it back with unexpected Stewards like Bumper at Navan yesterday
In all fairness betting on the stewards feels fair as I'm betting against other peoples opinions, as for the photos doesn't feel the same anymore.
I totally agree Hugo , sometimes you just like to ere it from others to convince yourself you're not going mad.
