The stunning bit of foresight was Cleese calling the track Exeter. At the time people called it Devon, D and E, or even Haldon. No one ever referred to it as Exeter apart from B Fawlty.

Dragonfly's SP was 14/1, so I'm pretty sure Argeband had a £1,000 to £70 each way at least. Eddie Avalon laid a hundred pounds to three each way first show.
