Touched on this yesterday, other than this one, O'Brien has had 1 1/8 winner from his last 40 runners. Pretty shocking for a stable of that quality. Trying to catch his son up? It didn't stop this one being very well supported, and bolting up. I don't follow the Flat on anything like a day to day basis, but he would be the 2yo colt who has impressed me the most. I wouldn't be overly bothered about him dropping back in trip for a Guineas, in fact he could sit on the front end safe in the knowledge that he is a strong stayer at the trip. The biggest concern would be whether the trainer can still produce one for the Classic.
