Sandown & Goodwood - Pitiful Cards

Seems to be happening more and more, Newbury another culprit. What's the point in Grade 1 tracks staging basement level racing - couple of 2yo races and a bunch of Class 4 and Class 5's? Southwell could put these cards on, or better still don't bother putting them on at all. Flat racing doesn't have obstacles to create at least a modicum of excitement from mediocrity. It's just serving up a dire product.
