Tiger, the secret was picking the best donkey...I have a cousin who was about 12 at the time and a regular horse rider...combine that with putting her on the most willing donkey, and the family would lump on the tote...great memories

It was noted that Sir Mark Prescott Bt representative’s explanation that WARDLAW (USA) had benefited from the first-time application of a hood for the improvement in form, the gelding was routine tested.
The performance of THAT DARN CANTOR which finished fourth of five runners, beaten 18 lengths, was considered. It was noted that Ed Dunlop’s representative could offer no explanation for the gelding’s performance on this occasion.
