Won on the bridle at Brighton 2 races ago, huge money for it today, Gary Moore, wins today with about a stone still in hand Laugh
Report uptheirons August 6, 2026 3:56 PM BST
Would you expect anything different from a Moore?

Didn’t need Hayley to tell you.

I was at Plumpton once and GM had one upcoming in the next race where it was 6/4 each of two, the rest were a million.

As I passed him I offered my best of luck to him in the next and he gave me a look similar to a raging Father to a naughty child.

From then on I was not a fan.

He is old school,Horatio.
He was taught that punters are like mushrooms andto be kept in the darkLaugh

Hayley expects other trainers to be forthcoming re their runners' chances but adopts the Moore vow of silence, mafia-like, despite heavy studio prompting, where family entries are concerned. Yes Hayley, we punters can be very unreasonable, imagine your station viewers wanting some inside info...the bloody cheek of it!

Its shameful how she pontificates but never gives nod on garry horses , the family are all tricky , fukers wouldnt tell u time , she didnt lick it up from grass , its shocking how she get paid to analyse races but wont ever give a tip , in fairness to dixon btothers they are very open and actually tell the viewers if the are on racing tv if backed their horse etc but this hayley girl always stay quiet on that front , she has kid now with the crook queally , birds of a feather stick together , pat flynn ran him out of his yard in ireland cos he as a wrong un , queally career after frankel went dpwn hill as he is a crook , he could easily stop your horse than win on it and he had great mentors how to do this

Solution to Sky Sports Management is simple: "Hayley, remember why you're here.  Here to assist and inform the viewers. Not to treat as a nuisance their reasonable interest in how the stable runners are expected to perform. Otherwise, get on your horse and gallop off into the sunset."
Report Mick Sturbs August 6, 2026 6:39 PM BST
Problem is if she said i think this will win today and it happened to lose, she would get a load of abuse from some punters screaming what a fix, she put everybody away there
Better to keep quiet about stable runners methinks
Report CROPSICK August 6, 2026 6:47 PM BST
Peronally i dont think any pundits on ATR, RTV OR ITV should have any relationship with Trainers or jockeys. I cant think of any sport currently being broadcast (although i might be wrong) where the pundits are related through blood or marriage to the participants, they simply can not be impartial.

I wonder why so many actually bother listening to these people on the channels - I don't, just make up my own mind and it's far better to do that, than listen to others for views.

Would universally respected senior forumite Penzance care to elaborate?

She is so far out of her depth it's staggering that they use her in a lead capacity. Intelligence of a 5yo and mind of a 10yo. Fluff wouldn't do her justice. It's embarrassing every time she gets a gig. Of no use whatsoever to the punter, or even a casual observer. The name has a lot to answer for. Her only useful contribution was catching that horse, and that had nothing to do with what she is paid to do.
Report stocks August 7, 2026 1:52 PM BST
So all the people having a go if she had they fancy the horse to win and it got beat wonder how many would be accusing her of conning the public Can't win either way saying nothing is best option You all her call useless so why would want her tips as usual punters want the easy option instead of doing homework
Report ihal essex August 7, 2026 2:52 PM BST
Stocks: give your head a wobble. We all do the homework but the effort would often be useless if the stable had decided pre-race that today is not going to be the day. The algorithm has to occasionally factor in some camouflaged skulduggery, so an honest confident or hopeful nod from the stable rep could be helpful, don't you agree? Perhaps racing's nuances are a tad too challenging for someone as trusting as you.
Report stocks August 7, 2026 3:05 PM BST
So you want a nod straight from the stable My opinion is that who should have  not is the owners they pay the bills not punters As for racing nuances are far too challenging for me is that not true of every punter that's why bookmakers make money I'm useless at horse racing just like the sport but don't like it when someone has her character assinated by people who want someone to blame for their lack of judgement
Report Mics August 7, 2026 10:47 PM BST
Stocks the dixon brothers on racing tv have no problem letting general public know if they have backed their horse when on ive often heard martin or brother clearly yes we fancy this horse and backed it , mrs moore on other hand receives a wage packet but chooses to let viewers know the consesus on garys runner even though she is getting paid to give honest opinion , for me this is dishonest and not giving true picture , she shouod get different job if withholding info on purpose
Report swiftynifty August 8, 2026 1:01 AM BST
