Maybe I'm imagining it but recently whenever I watch a race the SP of the winner always seems to be shorter than last show, particularly on a shortie. I understand that the tv channels maybe a little behind but this is when there maybe only two left to go in the stalls etc. Has this been going on a while now or again an I just imagining it?
No matter where we watch the live prices they could be different. Racing TV, a bookies or b356 for example. They aren’t all gonna be showing the same price for every horse.

Fair point. Livenka 4/5 on Racing TV with two to be loaded returns 4/6.

It's been going on for a long time. I regularly attend Ascot and nearly every winning horse I back, the SP price is shorter than the price I took on track (shortly before the off). It may be weighted bets in shops feeding back to the ISP is biased towards favourites, causing the top of the market all shorten. But even when I manage to win on a longer price, the SP price is seldom higher than late shows on track.

As was pointed out on a similar Thread last week -
The OFF-Course 'Big Firms' now both Control and RETURN the 'Industry SP.... and the Betting Shows are no longer directly, or rather Solely, from the Racecourse.
The consequences, therefore, hardly needs working out.

2.15 Catterick. 3rd fav withdrawn. Last show as the last one went in was the winner 2/1 and second 6/4. Winner returns 7/4 and second 11/8. So they've cut both plus theres a 15p Rule 4 on top of that. Absolute robbery.
