Well the distance it took the 2nd across the course, was a lot more, in ratio, to the winning distance.

murphy says he headed marquand and marquands fought back, there was no contact and he didn't feel it impacted the result whatsoever.

Surprised the price to keep it is still so high after Oisins version.

1.29 must be a good price.  murphys just basically said theres nothing to see and the other one deserves to win.

Because of the other day the price has held up, OM was way to honest.

Glad, after OMs testimony it looked nailed on, however I was twitchy after the other night. That after OMS evidence should been the best odd on bet of all time..... yet

I didn't play but there was enough to switch it. A SH or nse and they would have I suspect.

the jockey on the 2nd past the post at ripon maybe didn't go into the stewards room and basically tell them whatever happened during the race had absolutely no impact on the result and the winner is completely entitled to keep the race.

so today at Goodwood theres a stewards inquiry 1:50..it was practically identical to what happened at Ripon monday night...at ripon the winner was placed 3rd today result stands..The Ripon decision was absolutely embarrassing, the BHA are totally incompetant.

I even layed it back it at 1-2

Definitely more likely to have been overturned had Oisin not gone into the Stewards.

Must admit I didn’t hear Murphy interview

No real fancy in the next, going to put a few pounds for fun on Oisin. Funny how things often change the next week.

If Ripon had not happened, after OM more or less said he was not interfered with, well his horse, it was the bet of the year to keep the race, Ripon caused the worry.

Oisin was just being honest..

The second could have won twice - I don't think Murphy covered himself with glory in the finish, and seemed to be not 'all out' - almost coasting when he drew level

Then if he kept his gob shut in the SI, there was good chance it would have been reversed, especially as the 2nds owners sponsor the meeting

Very weak on both counts

Honest racing connections, now that's a first! He could have remained honest and been more enthusiastic about pursuing a reversal. For whatever reason, he didn't want to be there. Maybe he thought he should have won the race on the track.
