Are these physical, psychological and emotional illnesses UK specific? Do America, the EU, Far East and South East Asia experience a high level of these illnesses too? Or are they merely illnesses of the 21st Century and western world specific?

The first and no brainer way to save money is getting The Assisted Dying bill in law.  It's diabolical and diabolically stupid that it isn't.  That's my personal bugbear.

Those are just a few examples posted TODAY. Obviously it's just anecdotal, a sample, the proper hard core scammers wouldn't be posting about it publicly. There will be underground groups coaching people through it all.

At what reward point would you risk a one off opportunity to risk £50k on a toss of a coin?  Me I think it would be around £60k if it was a bet to nothing (i.e win £0 £50k or £110k) as in the survey, or around £75k if I was using my own money

I think the hypothetical is a lot different to the prospect for real. Pretty difficult to recreate the prospect for real. I suppose I can only relate it to how my betting has evolved. Twenty years ago I would be all in on my opinion, these days very much moderately cautious. I also hate games of chance, so it would need to be very generous in relation to the risk.

i,m afraid good auld maggie thatcher started it all off ,encouraging/ paying /telling people in their 50,s workig in coal , steel, shipyards, chemical industries,to put their feet up , youve done your wack, now in 3rd generation of people whove only known a  workless household, big housing estates near me even 25 yrs ago the nearest job centre would laugh at  not try and help anyone over 50/55 trying to get back in to work, so you can add the previous 25/30 yrs on to that

remember my dad and his mate when they got laid off from steelworks ,becoming del boy , squiggly diggly ,s and starting a wet fish selling round,it was the gardening business of its day, dozens of them on teesside, today lots getting in to been a modern chimmney sweep with techy camera,s,etc, apparently if you have a log burner you need chimmney cleaning once a yr for insurance purposes,i no of at least 8 lads got funding after latest steel closure to become SWEEPs,some didnt even get paid off but done the training/got the grants whilst on mothball duties

1st time poster hits the nail of head......thatchers wilful destruction of the manufacturing base of the uk created sinkhole towns all over the midlands and north of england

generations of unemployment has created chancers on the take, who tbf, have very little chance in life from birth.

thatchers creation of a service economy and her bribes to the working , working class, has imo created the uk of today...

england in particular, seems to be a total mess, where in large tracts of that country folk are now voting on racial lines, rather than what is in there economic self interest.....see MAGA....as an example
