"England will have a better chance if they do not start with Rashford, Saka or Eze. These 3 players need plenty of time to warm up. They're also inconsistent and unreliable."

Watch Saka score or assist in the first 10 mins Grin

I'd have Gordon Hill (Man Utd) instead of Saka any time, any day for England; Saka blows hot and cold. Saka's best attribute is cutting in and swinging with his left foot. If this is nullified he's useless on the pitch.

Eze was poor the other night too. I cannot remember which UK team paid a bundle for him. I think he'd turn out like the buys of Torres and Lukaku to Chelsea or Carroll to Liverpool - expensive duds.

I'd gladly pay, if so with Saka. England will need other players to score tonight. Kane and Bellingham could have an off-night.

Any seen what their Vice presidents remarks?

Called us , “Usurping pirates and invaders.” Shocked

Arsenal bought EZE and he gives the ball away too cheaply by wanting fouls.

Gordon gave it away in last match twice in the first half.

England vs Argentina 1966

Their player was sent off and it took 8 minutes for the game to resume! Shocked

We played much more direct back then.

The Argie player who was sent off was Antonio Rattin, who died aged 89 just a few days ago.

He claimed he did not understand the German ref and thats why he took so long to accept his dismissal.

As a result, Red and Yellow cards were brought in by Fifa for the 1970 World Cup to avoid any repetition.

We'll be ok if Beckham is absent. He'd jinx England and Tuchel.

The wee petite built manager has to stay cool too,all this bouncing around and squawking at Spence and others only blights the confidence….

Petrified to move tbh….

Dixie in the commentary Chinny Hill said if it remains a draw the game will go to something like a toss of the coin?

No extra time back then?

I’d like to see Pickford shout in the tunnel as they stand side by side, “Who wants it?”

The team all reply, “We do.”

Then he shouts, “Let’s ‘ave it!”

No subs allowed either, certainly in England until about 1967?

Dela, spot on, Keith Peacock, father of Gavin, of 80s, 90s Chelsea, Newcastle fame

Gavin now lives in Canada, and is a church minister, found religion whilst playing football
His dad Keith managed Gillingham etc and played the most games for Charlton,  might have been overtaken now
I knew them both, lived near me, Gavin went to the same school

A boring 1st half. The Argies were only interested in mowing England players down. Stop, start, stop, start. Let's hope the 2nd half is much better.

Same as dropping back inviting pressure.

Gonzo has done that all season, taken cheap shots, scored a couple and we left him.
