The layers must love it, a horse that has 1L & 1/2 to find not quoted!

I’ve written to have him added but to no avail, SUNLY is quoted for the Yorkshire Oaks next.

If you’re backing anything then it’s a bit dodge, but a nice one to have onside for the layers.
By:

When: 29 Jul 26 18:34
I’d also prefer PC on it with the way that he’s riding. But you follow the crumbs and he’s there of the older brigade on that last run and that one with Bay City, one to have onside as they say.

”Shouldn’t be discussing until September imo”

That’s one way of looking at it or you could look and see that we’ve had the Grand Prix Saint - Cloud (which has had a bearing on past Arcs) , now the King George (which has promoted Kaplan’s to 3rd favourite lowest price 8/1) , this week the Nassau Stakes with the current 4th favourite to run Diamond Necklace currently 14/1

That will give us further insight into the form and the gap between the generations.

- - - - -

Now 8/1

And STILL NOT A FULL MARKET offered on the ARC

Still ONLY 72 quoted!

I've nicked some 40's and 20's about her for the Juddmonte immediately post race just in case, perfect race for her, shame that they've got CR but you never know, worth it at those prices.

Good luck Duffy you never know with them but I love listening to him just after the race as he’s buzzing and let’s slip! Wink

Do you honestly think Diamond Necklace (DN) will run here? Personally I'd doubt it. Minding won at Epsom (12f) but skipped here. I think DN may go for the Fillies and Mares Stakes at Ascot on Champions Day. Prior to France on ARC Day.
By:

All roads lead to France, they might try her at Mile and half for the Vermielle to nab a 12f race. But she has Opera written all over her for which she’s entered.

The Opera is the race I've in mind on ARC Day.

I don’t think you’re far off Impossible.

Sadly something might be amiss with the AGA Filly?

Baldy has eased her to 16/1 and she’s drifted in the exchange.

After today and the Diane form being confirmed and in to the Mallert I’m surprised she’s not been shortened.

Two days ago bets in numbers cut her to 16 from 20.

I’m hoping that it’s just Fred’s pushing her out in line than rather a set back as the clash of unbeaten fillies would be great!

JEAN ET LOUIS ROMANET 10f G1

23/08/2026 00h00, DEAUVILLE

DN is entered for this against older mares.

02/08/2026    DEAUVILLE    P - 499 - ROTHSCHILD 1m G1 she’s not entered!

"She’s slowly moving up. What she does next – she could go to York, to an Arc trial or to France for the Prix Rothschild. Constitution [River] goes for the Juddmonte International, and Minnie Hauk may come back for the Yorkshire Oaks. Whether this filly needs to go to a mile and a half, I’m not sure."

Throw that quote away! Laugh

Paddy and 'Sly' still on 12/1; BV is 14/1; 365, Billy, Boy and Ladcrookes are on 16/1. I hope she's being trained for the Vermeille as originally indicated..

Minnie was 13/8 for The Yorkshire Oaks prior to her "excursion" - a change of tactic - in the King George. She's 5/1 presently.

I’m not sure Impossible I’d hoped that Sunly might make the journey.

The race is on 20th at York.

But she’s entered here

I'd not read too much into the price movement of DN in the last 24hrs. It's just an anticipated market reaction to a probable victory for DN in The Nassau. I'm no layer but I'd have done the same to any naive or unsuspecting player.

With 2 days of Goodwood left I can say the best news for horseracing is Bow Echo winning The Sussex despite a battalion of spoilers deployed by AOB / Coolmore.

Someone just snagged ÂŁ4 Behrayna at 22 here. I think Minnie at 21 is an enterprising price for trading. I think Minnie is a near certainty to run, all being well.

Both he and DN won well, I’ve just been waiting for the clash of the age groups this week.
By:

Before the Nassau today Balding was told that See the Fire has been beaten in whatever amount of G1’s (into double figures)

This year Minnie Hauk has already been beaten in 3 the soft ground of an arc might bring about improvement but then again so might a well placed rocket!
By:
impossible123
When: 30 Jul 26 17:58
Yes, Minnie is a better filly with a bit of soft in the ground. But, she's not an Enable, Minding or Found. However, I think the 3 yr old colts and fillies will dispatch their elders to the stands if coming through their ARC trials eg Behrayna, Thundering On, Bay City Roller, etc. The acid test is the trials at Longchamp in September. I still think the 2025 ARC renewal was inferior to the past.

At the moment I'm passive with betting. I'm just going through the motion eg waiting on the finality of antepost bets eg St Leger, ARC, Gold Cup, etc. Bow Echo did me a big favour in The Sussex although on a reduced exposure for a guaranteed positive return.

Having to tread very carefully given the influence of the Argentina entity of horseracing antepost betting / market is dying slowly. Only selections outside this despicable outfit can be included for a probable run, all being well.

Good luck impossible I know you’ve been burnt a couple of times with the AP favs on your multis it’s why I generally don’t entertain them.

I wonder where Christmas Day will go?  He’s quoted by some for the Arc yet isn’t entered.

Unfortunately looks like Beyhrana has had a set back she’s out to 40 and been removed by the high street firms.

Poodles even pushed her to 50/1 tonight, they must have a side line at the stable.

The day before the Diane they pushed out the retired Zayida who was on my treble wirh two winners Bay City & Christmas Day.
Lucky I was able to cash that out before the news broke.

It’s sad for the race if this is correct which it looks likely as we’d maybe have had two unbeaten 3 year old fillies facing eachother in the great race.  Sad
