I thought about three horses today, but left them alone.

Three favourites, and three abysmal runs for no obvious reason. I am tempted to suggest the sport has become a minefield, and the number of mines is just increasing every year. The pack is stacked. It's not at all surprising that so many have just turned to in-running as the only option.
