Three favourites, and three abysmal runs for no obvious reason. I am tempted to suggest the sport has become a minefield, and the number of mines is just increasing every year. The pack is stacked. It's not at all surprising that so many have just turned to in-running as the only option.

I backed Constitution River. Thats it which for a Saturday says it all. Two others I was looking at both lost. I backed Stem last time and couldn't see how it could win today so left it alone. Helps of course when the obligatory Balding fancy is legless.
