Ascot has been frustrating for me this week, though its so competitive that hard luck stories are inevitable....

I've backed a couple there today

Apollo One (20/1) - Wokingham
Evanesco (10/1) - 5.35

My main bet today is at Newmarket 3.47 Youthful King

There are question marks against all 5 runners here:

Dojin & Roadlesstravelled try 1M 6F for the first time, and neither have proven themselves on quick ground. Sixpack is another who may be better suited to cut in the ground, and Kuredo King is yet to show much for Donald McCain.

Youthful King doesn't come without risk ( has not been at his best since winning off 85 Sandown 12 mths ago ) though a reproduction of that run with conditions in his favour, will surely see him go mighty close here, boosted by the 7lb claim of Jude Fernades.
At the current 12/1 he looks the value here.
