Just! I need Germany (Haiti) and Bow Echo (Sussex) for a small treble. I need Ben (Irish Derby) for a treble too after Bow Echo and Precise. The forecast is friendly next week at Leopardstown.

Moore said AOB ran Illinois in the wrong race at Epsom. I think AOB knew what he was doing. He needed a battalion to make life difficult for Calandagan, but not accounted for Bay City Roller to gatecrash.

I enjoyed this Royal Ascot. Only had a few selective bets and the super / epic boosts. Yes, it was good to see Moore does have a sense of humour even with Chapman. I firmly believe if AOB / Coolmore were running a battalion in a Group race to aid their principal runner in the Far East or East Asia eg Hong Kong Cup / Japan Cup, S Korea, Vietnam, Malaysia, they'd have been hauled before the horseracing authority and sanctioned eg an immediate ban imposed. They might even be asked to fund the race concerned eg cough up for the prize money.
The Irish Derby is next sunday at Leopardstown.

What I'm thinking is not always in sync with what I'm typing. I think it's getting progressively worse. Anyway the weather for The Curragh is settled and friendly all through next week. AOB could be filling 4 ie 4 from Epsom plus possibly Causeway.

Who knows Impossible, there’s no real threats with the Haggis horse going to the Grand Prix Du Paris.
James Braddock and stablemate, not really excited about the race.
What’s your thoughts on the King George?
Against Minnie Hauk?

Division had to switch out several lanes to get a run in the Commonwealth Cup and was still only three-quarters of a length down on Venetian Sun at the line. You wouldn’t describe him as conventionally unlucky but he got closer to the winner than at Haydock and, if they were to meet again on ground as fast as this, Division would not be without a chance of reversing the placings.

Delashay • June 19, 2026 3:40 PM BST No one is debating the start, it’s a reply to the statement made by Angela.
He had no need to go around horses when he did.
Delashay • June 19, 2026 3:41 PM BST Billy wins on it, Doyle lost his bottle to sit and wait.
• June 19, 2026 3:42 PM BST Read the above and think you’re unlucky because of the start or the draw!
Some great race watchers on here, thankfully there are some at the RP who noted what actually happened, no mention of the start in that article!

I've never been a fan of Minnie Hauk. I still believe The ARC she ran in was mediocre. I'm waiting to see if Con River is being aimed. It's very unlikely he and Minnie would run - only one will. If the former does I'd oppose him with Calandagan. I did not back Jan at Ascot, but he'd do in the King George if Con River chickens out.
I think AOB will be mob-handed again, and team tactic deployed (again). I hope the BHA uphold the suspension of Soumillon as it was pretty blatant and unsporting.

I meant King George. Con River will never run in The ARC unless the lads have a brain transplant each. I think AOB was fairly vocal against Con River running in The Eclipse either. The horse could be targeting races overseas eg Meydan and America.
I think AOB knows the "potential" of Con River without the hype by journos and pundits.

You could be right about abroad, like Magician and the Breeders Cup Turf.
On hype he was only rated a lb better than the Epsom winner.
The French handicapper has Daryz running to the same level at Ascot as his two previous wins this season.

To clarify that’s his Arc winning mark, as said earlier it’s been unchanged despite wining over inadequate trips.
Will need to improve if he’s to win another Arc on that then.

If he wants it...Calandagan will take Minnie Hauk to the cleaners - it'll be a serious búm rápíng! She's a damn good filly and I don't underestimate her but I'm sure he'll be too strong for her. I predict a comfortable 2 lengths...whatever the ground.

I’d wait before backing Calandagan personally, he won’t have the home schooling gallop next time out that they will crave for him.
There’s a chance that the travel last year has taken its toll, Graffard had thought that this time last year with Goliath.
Aventure was due to run in the Pretty Polly but due to the heat doesn’t travel, Bay City Roller is heading there, won’t have his ground but it doesn’t make it a cakewalk. She’ll give us a clue as to how well he is form wise.
The Japanese horse if running his race will test him and find any chink if there are any from the scraps and scars left from last year.
But at 7/2 I’m not playing, it’s a 48 hour trip and this time of year he could lose too much weight when shipping.

The next race will tell us if Caladgan has suffered any ill effects from his season last year.
His run in Dubai wasn’t good, next time out he has to face Bay City Roller again, but not on his ground, then there’s Aventure who has re routed from the Pretty Polly due the the heat making them decide not to travel.

Graffard had thought that he’d lost Goliath this time last year due to his travelling out to Hong Kong after the Japan Cup. He dropped him down a level to see and get his confidence back.
Aventure will give us a formline to see how much is left in the tank for Candy.

The Japane horse on form with Candy and the fore of the Hardwick through Kaplana and Gia means that he’ll give him a race, but only if he ships over well.
Thats got to be a big ask, given it’s a 48 hour journey, one which they’re taking to avoid the heat in Japan right now. So there’s a chance he could lose too much weight on the trip and not show, so 7/2 doesn’t appeal.

I will not be commenting on the race again whatever the response, it's pointless as the poster will simply keep on to prove he got the upper hand. He didn't.
It appears i was correct in my assumption; however just to put the record straight to his assertion that the horse was not 20/1, i suggest he reads the form with better lenses. At no time was he 8/1 or 12/1. The SP was 20/1 and on here i know he was 38 and 30 for the win and 3.95 for the place. How i know is obvious.
Delashay • July 4, 2026 11:48 AM BST
He was pushed to 20/1 on the day, AP he was the odds quoted.
You were also wrong about Aventure not being odds against earlier in the year, there was no apology there either.

Are you willing to bet that I was wrong? That his price was never what I wrote?

I’ve offered someone who insulted me a wager on his opinion, not based on an odds shot.
Which he’s admitted to being the basis of his biggest ever bets.
Now I’d appreciate if you’d some elsewhere and let Andrew In Sweden answer for himself.

Coral cut Sajir to 10-1 (from 14) for the Jubilee, a race in which he was withdrawn by the starter after giving trouble in the stalls 12 months ago.
"Finally!" said Andre Fabre, teasing winning jockey Oisin Murphy as he returned to unsaddle. But this was all about running Prince Faisal's five-year-old homebred son of Make Believe into form, and the 32-time champion trainer looks to be bringing Sajir to the boil at the right time. "I'm very relieved as it's very hard to prepare a horse for Ascot with the distances available in the time coming up to Ascot," said Prince Faisal's racing manager, Ted Voute. "It's just under three weeks to the Saturday of Royal Ascot and the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes.
