I still don’t understand how people think burkes a good jockey he’s average at best think he’s been shown up twice today, but I don’t think Owen’s horses are running great

Maybe, but the winner collected virtually every hurdle. AF remains a fruitcake, certainly not a horse that you can use to judge a jockey in my opinion. Hammond was very brave at the last, could have easily been leaving the course in an ambo, rather than going to the WE.

he's riding them all the same way that horse jubilant that won the other night @ plumpton it looks brilliant when it comes off but its negative EV riding style

I think it has to be put in context. The winner is another fruitcake but everyone knows how it goes, tears off. So you're not going to chase it. He got AF settled as you say, the winner was doing a lot and making bad mistakes. He had every right to wait. His horse found nothing and the winner found, loves the track, and as I allude to, flew the last after being thrown at it.

Yes I said he found nothing, you responded sarcastically, implying he did find a lot.
You also say he was slowing down for the finish.
It's not a leap of faith to say that they can't both be true.

It's all context, like I say. The RU had a great trip. The winner did too much and made multiple mistakes.
In context, in my opinion, the winner found a lot more for pressure than the RU.

I agree with that yes. I suppose I could be more explicit and say the winner found more for pressure than could have been expected. AF probably went pretty short.
I agree it is incongruent to say a horse finds for pressure when it is slowing down. But it can apply when it appears to have gone too fast, been too aggressively ridden and made lots of mistakes (in a jump race).
