What do you think of Rico's cartoons, irons?

My favourites are those where the two of you are pictured sitting at a table.

It is remarkable that the Tanker Driver is unable to answer a straight forward question he has been asked on numerous occasions and either goes on the missing list or tries to deflect.

'aberdonia', I'd report the bookies to The Gambling Commission. It should be made illegal and unlawful for bookies to request personal and financial info post depositing and winning on a bet. Any due diligence should be done prior to bookies accepting deposits for a minimum period of 6 months.

I firmly believe a bookie who accepts a deposit the bookie concerned is entering into a contract with the punter. As such, there should be a minimum period of longevity of the contract,

All Bookmakers are terrified of not knowing who they're dealing with.

so they want to know everything about you.  job, marital status, how much you make, how much you got in the bank, how much you got left on your mortgage, wifes bra size, what you had for dinner last Thursday.  they want the lot.

it's called profiling.

On the subject of financial means, on an average Saturday the bookies take lots and lots and lots of small stake football accrs, 10 to 20+ selections, many all home wins, crown jewels for any winning slip. But would they have the financial means to pay out if every game was a home win one Saturday?

Sunday roast in a slow cooker. Everything else air-fryer,or occasionally microwave. I only use the cooker to tell me the time. Its a very expensive kitchen clock these days.

nebbie. thats an interesting q. bookmaker limits are necessary to stop this but vary alarmingly. some are a disgrace and they havent moved for too long. 1m is too little. not long ago the max price on any score was 100/1, even 25-0. lester prem win at 5000/1 would have been 1000 until recently

worst limit i ever saw was 25k. imagine the disappointment

Nebs, years ago the independent bookies were upset with the big 4 bookies at the time and said they would place a  49's lotto type bet with the same numbers in all the big firms shops every day. The big firms city investors did not like the minute possibility of them going bust. I cannot remember any more details.
