Rico, it happens. I had a decent punt on Man United outside top 6 and there was 2.5 left standing as they were 2-0 up against City a while back. Didn't mean my bet was down but , I was sharpish to back the lay back and get out level. Sometimes people forget the bet , doing other things, etc etc.

I hope the saints win their appeal. ridiculous decision, based on a guy with an iphone capturing a few players running back and forth cones. they gained eff all.

agreed it seems harsh Leif but , without any interest financially or otherwise, it sends a message that the rules shouldn't be broken. Professional sport is now ruined by excessive, minor, stupid cheating and only by harsh penalties can it be stopped. Marginal gains as Clive Woodward espoused. To give a small example. The rule used to be that part of the ball needed to be within the quadrant for a corner. Every player pushed it to the millimetre to gain an advantage. Now the rule is that part of the ball needs to overhang the quadrant line. Watch the next one. The ball is hardly in the quadrant but 0.5 overhangs the line. All of this to gain possibly 2 millimetres further forward on a 25 metre kick.
