samagan the hot fav here odds and a very good 2nd on seasonal debut may well win but henri graff has said in his stable tour "he is a good ground horse and by all accounts its very soft today poster delashay has pointed out the commenwealth cup is the target he may be too good but its a sprint and small margin for error i can pass st the prices .not a lot between kimi ray street sense and pearl fortune on past form and i like the look of doveteiosky and pearl fortune both handle soft and dovetieski is a prominent racer who be hard to peg back here if getting out in front prob need 1st run this season . also pearl fortune didnt seem to like the faster going when down the field 1st time up and was not knocked about she should be more at home here on this surface and should be a lot sharper today . selections dovetioski & pearl fortune win bets on here 20s plus on here plus the 2 of em.
Good luck Foyles thought you might go for Kimi but see Burkes beat that last year.
Street Show was beat by the fav 2+L on soft looks a price too and has the inside draw, fav out on the wing.

Sonatine for Fab ran in a good race won by a Graff horse last time who I think has the Jean Pratt as his aim, drops back.
It’s well trippy the more you look!! Sonatine for Fab ran in a good race won by a Graff horse last time who I think has the Jean Pratt as his aim, drops back.
Enjoy, only just caught the race! Not sure I agree with John that bubble has bust, they were luke warm about his chances and like Albert had to make his own running.
Was no different to his prep in the Debel (except for form turn around) for the Guineas bigger targets await.
Stiffer track better ground etc…. The Comminweqlth looks a mine field!
Back to stretching canvasses!

Before I forget they are doing something different with the Arc draw this year.
They’ll draw it in the morning but it won’t be released until that evening!
Seems well dodgy cos someone’s gonna know and benefit from it aren’t they?

Yes the on,y thing with Calyx is he has Lemaitre and he always finds trouble.
I don’t write off anything that gets beat by Graff after last year, with Daryz finishing last in the Internaional then winning the Arc a couple of months later.
He’s said Shalaan is unlikely after his run in the Lockinge but he needed that too. Think he expected slightly better though. Has been holding his tail funny so might have a back problem?

I'm kicking myself. I looked at the winner the day before, and then stumbled over the race again 4 minutes before the off - it was the only race I have watched this week - which wasn't ideal, and needless to say didn't go in. It looks daft not having a small bet now, but that can happen with a cautious approach. You can so often forgive a horse one run, and this time he settled perfectly, and won very comfortably. He should win again.

Unlucky not to get bigger odds, think there were three or four with odds of 22/1 which is never a starting price for me, they either go 20’s or get pushed to 25’s See this more and more odds getting sandwiched

His trainer, Mauricio Delcher-Sanchez, has never made a secret of his high regard for Dostoevsky. After his disappointing finish in the Prix Djebel (10th) in his return to competition, it was, however, legitimate to have some doubts, but under the saddle of Christophe Soumillon, Alain Jathière’s charge dispelled those doubts, confirming the quality he had shown as a 2-year-old. “Last time, he was very excited for his return (in April in the Djebel); he was already quite agitated during the warm-up canter, which he didn’t show at all today,” the ten-time Cravache d’Or winner analyzed. “Then, during the race, he never got a chance to breathe, which is why he faded at the end. Today, he broke normally; I was lucky to find myself right in the pack without having to make an effort. Behind, he settled in well, breathed the way I wanted him to, and when the pace picked up, he surged past the others and won very convincingly.”
Finishing a convincing second with a fast finish but unlucky at the crucial moment, Kailani adds some spice to the odds (at 22/1) and prompts this reflection from Stéphane Wattel, his mentor: “We were lucky to have because he’s a good horse all the same. Last time, his race didn’t go well. This time, we’re a bit frustrated because we were cut off in our effort; he was coming along very easily...”
The overwhelming favorite Samangan, only 4th
At 6/10 odds, Samangan, who finished fourth, was unable to make it onto the podium: “The horse tried too hard by taking the lead on a heavy track like today’s. So he expended too much energy on a surface that doesn’t suit him,” notes Francis Graffard, his trainer. “It wasn’t a good performance for him.” Regarding Kimi Rey, who finished third, the trainer said: “Clément (Lecœuvre) told me we would have won and that he lost his balance at the wrong moment. Afterward, he gave her a chance, but she’s incredible, finishing strong in all her races.”
They have a good crop this year in this division, the form is all working out and Sanchez has some nice horses.

I can't really see any bets. Consent might be of some interest if fit and the ground is indeed very soft, but 15/2 is not tempting enough.
I just hope Daryz bolts up. It's about time we had another great horse. He could easily still be unbeaten, and if anything he looked to have improved on his seasonal debut.

The clock backs that up.
An impressive burst of speed
In the Prix Ganay, Mickaël Barzalona’s mount won thanks to a devastating burst of speed launched 250 meters from the finish line. The champion trained by Francis-Henri Graffard pulled off an exceptional feat to win ahead of Bright Picture and Aventure. That day, he set the track records ablaze with a split from 400 to 200 meters in 10.51 seconds and from 200 meters to the finish line in 10.58 seconds. A burst of speed worthy of a champion!
