Question answered about the horse
By:
A change of stable might help. The psyche of the horse has been marginalised. The horse is screwed-up. A confused.com, I'm afraid.
By:
Looks like he needs further to me...
By:
Where’s it come?
By:
6f is too far. I'd go 5f next perhaps, Mr O'Brien or 1m 4f in The Derby.
By:
Probably a morning glory

A change of stable might help. The psyche of the horse has been marginalised. The horse is screwed-up. A confused.com, I'm afraid. Yes,that AOB cannot train can he ![]() ![]() |
By:
Second not the end of the world but makes you wonder after all the TALK!
![]() |
By:
AOB made a mistake. He should have found a "race" in Ireland for him.
By:
No he should have gone first up in the Guineas, then flopped, so munters could think he’d rise from the flames next time in the Commonwealth Cup.
Then the press could remind us of the likes of City of Troy blah, blah ![]() |
By:
AOB clearly has lots to learn from Delbert and Implausible
![]() |
By:
'change of stable' God help us
By:
Implausible is thicker than an elephants todger,Frogger
By:
ok. gl to you both for the rest of the day
By:
City Of Troy had a funny heart on Guineas Day. I think The Derby was mediocre.
By:
Thanks didn’t see the race, watching the FA Cup and so far it’s been a sweet FA day for AoB
![]() With this years and last years fastest ever ever! ![]() |
By:
TBF,AOB rarely goes more than a few years without making similar claims
By:
I forgot about Wembley.
By:
Second half up next, 0-0 Chel look dangerous on the break
![]() |
By:
Wasn’t such a bad run having watched it back, anyone thinking that one of his will show up in the Kings Stand?
![]() Has a record of sending 3 year olds there and two books are at odds with who they go lower on. |
By:
He’d maybe had of won had he stayed straight and I think that they are learning about him still, I recall seeing him as a 2 yr old come between horses to win.
Every time he’s been headed he’s found more when joined by another horse and being left out in front doesn’t suit. Bet in numbers go 20/1 for the Kings Stand the rest go 25’ Whereas prince Wills go 20’s for Darwin and the rest go 25’s Will both show up in the Commonwealth or will one take in this? Rayevka is as low as 8/1 I can’t see her giving Albert 3lb she’s been dominated every time that she’s ran against Montelle (even when in receipt of weight as a 3 yr old) She likes Ascot but doesn’t for me have the scope to give weight to a powerhouse 3 year old. |
By:
I'd give Albert another chance betting wise over 6f if he didn't have to make his own running.
By:
Big Evs finished 1 1/2 3rd @ Evs 2 years back and was ahead of 4 yr old Believing. Has previous Ascot form as a 2 year old having won the Windsor Castle (Listed)
Darwin has won the Norfolk G2 and IS double digits Albert looked yesterday as though 5f @ Ascot would be perfect. Could listen to more examples, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_Charles_III_Stakes_(Great_Britain) One look and you’ll see the race has had many a 3 yr old winner, last one Bradsell 14/1 3 yr ago. |
By:
Horse don't look top class over any trip.
By:
AOB needs to be less effusive and cut down on the hard-sell on his future "star" charges until they actually deliver as a 3 yr old. The annual lofty appraisal of one or two of his "star" horse/s has/have been off target so many times most have dismissed off-hand as foolish, unprofessional and even disingenuous.
Until Albert Einstein can deliver a sequence of Group 1 successes this season I do not think he's even as good as Caravaggio, the sprinter with a sensitive soft sole. |
By:
Unless it's another Frankel.
By:
July Cup certain target tbh.
By:
I’d like to see him held up behind, not too far back, agree so far he doesn’t look top class and I’ve put forwards why he does talk them up however how sceptical it sounds!
This horse is such a size I can see why they put him aside, must of needed to to grow and he’ll maybe not be at a peak as a sprinter until he’s 5. We’ve sold some mediocre types that have been transformed when trained in Hong Kong when given time, I hope that he gets more of that. He needs to talk less for sure Impossible. Thoughts on Darwin Pen? At least it’s got us talking about it. |
By:
I'd not use the term "talking". I'd say annoyance; self praise is no praise. AOB ought to stick to training. Lately too many false dawns.
The incessant supply of pedigree horses is the major difference between him and another good trainer. |
By:
Mission Central cut to 10’s for the Kings Stand from 20/1
By:
First horse of his I recall wearing a noseband (now a dual listed winner)
