If he bothered to look at the clip on YouTube, he would see there was a gap of 5 or 6 seconds between Nixon stopping and the astronaut starting to talk.

Re Brassneck's perennial complaints about rotating horses, although Betfair does this sometimes, my guess is his actual problem is Betfair's screen re-drawing after a bet is placed in order to add details of the bet.

This means that while horses' relative order is maintained, their absolute position on the screen changes so that anyone making rapid bets under the pub table has a high chance of backing the wrong horse *after the first bet*.

The more interesting point about the phone call to the moon is that President Nixon said he was in the "Oval Room". Nowadays they call it the "Oval Office". When did it change? Why did it change? Did aliens change it?
