Good morning, can't help but have a bet on American Gal e/w 4 places most books on this race. Although she has a lower rating than most of the others this is unbelievably the first time the trainer has run the horse on fast ground, previously her best effort was on good ground at Ascot but her pedigree clearly suggests good to firm will suit her well. Considering the books are paying four places it doesn't take too much improvement for the ground to make at least 4th place. Win would be a huge bonus. 50/1 with Sportsbook and Paddy's, 40/1 generally.

Jesus...no sooner have I posted this and Arisaig (who they fake backed from 20/1 into 11/1) gets pulled out meaning only 10 runners, so race reverts to 3 places only and they managed a 5p R4 as well.
I should have realised that Arisaig would probably come out having run yesterday. My bets are already placed so could new a new machine if she finishes 4th later! Honestly I think the ground is key and could bring the necessary improvement.

american girl faded and proberly needed the run first time up this season ,tom m up and yard in good nick not that much to find as a few of these are closely matched with each other on past runs and my kind of price ive had some ew 40/1 4 places , at big prices i can afford to have a few cracks and other one that appeals is cheshire dancer who is a group 3 winner has btn american girls and a few others who reoppose at ascot last season she is game and can battle ,may need this today but at the prices 33/1 ew 4 places looks fair imo
