and the punters who backed the real winner, not many, i would have thought , also gone.....
im not for sacking folk when they make a mistake, everyone fcks up from time to time, but this blunder has cost a packet..... are the normal bookmakers paying out on the winner and the 2nd as both "winners" of the race.? |

I don't know if it was or not kriskin
assumed weighed in given on SL but lads on here saying its not official |
By:
As stated previous Betfair have NO right to pay out on the 14/1 shot according to their own rules
By:
Fact is, they'll be winners and losers, but only fair those who backed the actual fptp winner should win. I am not one of them.
But, rules is rules for betting purposes, or at least change the rulebook ffs! |

Betfair as an act of good faith could do the right thing financially imo.

will need official confirmation from the track if signal given
if it is 5 will be the winner on here |
By:

RTV back on this now.
Weighed in was announced according to the RTV guy on track. |
By:
Result was reversed but still unclear whether the result was changed before or after weigh in was announced.
By:
Apparently a Racetech technician alerted the judges to the error.
By:
broont saying weigh in was called and wont changed for betting purposes...so how can they change the result after 'weigh in' farcical.
By:
A mess up all round then. Gordon Brown is clear the weighed in was announced.....and for betting purposes that is the result.
