The Raceday Stewards interviewed C.T. Keane, rider of Sindagan, trained by J.P. Murtagh, concerning his riding in the last 100 yards where he appeared to ease his mount without good reason possibly costing him second place
Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he put down his whip and just rode hands and heels to the line. However, he accepted under questioning that his riding did appear to get more vigorous in the last two strides when the eventual second came alongside him. Having viewed the recording and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found the rider was in breach of R212A(iv)(a) by failing to achieve his best possible placing having eased his riding and having considered his clean record, they suspended him for seven racedays and ordered him to forfeit his riding fee.
Tad harsh but rules is rules in racing. Horse is not straightforward is seems. Tried the headgear. Keane was working away at the thing from way out, but found little under pressure. No glance behind him and got caught very late on. Horse had nothing left in any case but the rules are there.

Clearly thought he was finishing second and rode accordingly. Stewards had to ban him. Shame their colleagues in the UK dont do likewise for Buick, the worst offender for this I've ever seen.

mind you not as bad as Joel Rosario in the 6.32 at Keenland tonight would have been a hefty 1.01 here but only about £500 done as that price

I was wondering how long the bigot Cider could ignore one of my posts. An absolute cretin of the highest order. He thinks its just me who thinks Buick is the worst around for it. He also thinks Norwegian people are British ffs.

Keane eased up and got chinned, got a ban, he even accepted in the enquiry that he started to ride harder in the last couple of strides once he knew he was in trouble. There is literally nothing especially newsworthy or controversial to the story, aside from a retained jockey who rides in multiple jurisdictions being banned for a period of time. Yet you saw it as an opportunity to turn it into yet another pop at the British. You are evidently not very well, quite possibly unhinged.

Since when is being born in Norway classed as British? Also are you honestly saying the UK stewards give out the bans they should be for not riding out properly for a place? Keane deserved his ban, yet his finishing effort was no worse than what Buick does every day. He's the worst for it there's ever been yet the stewards never do him for it. But you think differently of course.

No idea what youre trying to say with that. Obviously then you disagree that he doesn't ride put for a place and is never brought in over it. You're blind as well as stupid so.

Join the dots it is, Buick has it in his own bio that he is British, dual nationality with NO (Norway). He doesn't have small person syndrome though, ironically enough
